EMI Health finishes 2016 strong

SALT LAKE CITY—January 24, 2017—EMI Health, a local medical, dental and vision insurance provider, experienced strong growth in its client roster for Utah and Arizona during 2016, with more than 250 new groups selecting EMI Health as their benefits provider.

Among the Utah organizations are Girl Scouts of Utah, Techna Glass, Eaton Alliance, and the City of Cedar Hills. New groups in Arizona include Sedona Rouge Hotel & Spa, Mohave Accelerated Learning Center, and Crust Management.

EMI Health now provides dental coverage for 1,029 employers groups, representing 74,610 employees; medical coverage for 490 groups, representing 29,823 employees, and vision coverage for 388 groups with 17,080 employees.

“Growth continues to come from our unique product offerings and the addition of several new medical pools, allowing small and mid-sized companies to join together and share in the risk and management of these plans,” said Steve Morrison, CEO of EMI Health. “While other health insurance companies may be struggling, we have found opportunities and alternatives to provide employer groups the products and services they need to keep healthcare affordable and offer excellent benefits to their employees.”

EMI Health offers insurance benefits and services for commercial, government and public and higher education groups. EMI Health’s more than 200,000 members take advantage of low premiums without sacrificing excellent medical, dental and vision coverage.
