Receiving payment by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)
If you are enrolled with Zelis Payments to receive electronic payment (ACH), you've probably noticed that your EMI Health claims payments are now coming through Zelis. If you have questions about your deposit or your Zelis service, please contact Zelis directly at 877-828-8770, Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. EST. For claims processing questions, contact the EMI Health provider assistance team at email@example.com or 800-644-5411, Monday through Friday between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. MST.
If you would like to sign up for EFT directly from EMI Health, you must first be receiving electronic remittance advice (EDI 835) from EMI Health through the Utah Health Information Network (UHIN). You may contact UHIN at www.uhin.org or 877-693-3071.
Once you are receiving EDI 835s through UHIN, you may also enroll in EFT with EMI Health at https://emihealth.com. When authorizing EFT, you are agreeing that you will no longer receive Explanations of Payment (EOPs) for patient account reconciliation, so it is important to ensure you are currently posting 835s before signing up for EFT.
