About EMI Health
In the early 1930’s, a group of teachers founded the nonprofit organization that is now known as EMI Health. Back then, the one-time membership fee was only $4! (About $75 today). During the subsequent 85 plus years, we have evolved into a successful full-service health insurance organization serving employer groups in both public and commercial sectors.
We offer medical, dental, and vision insurance benefits and services to corporate, government, public education, and higher education groups in Arizona, Georgia, Texas, and Utah. We also offer dental, vision, and telemedicine insurance plans to individuals and families in AZ, NV, PA, TX, and UT. Our dental plans are also sold through the Federal Insurance Marketplace in AZ, FL, GA, NV, OH, PA, TX, and UT. In total, we currently insure nearly 300,000 individuals through our products.
It is our mission to provide the best possible benefits at the lowest cost. EMI Health is guided by a board of directors made up of members and industry experts who are committed to that mission. With no stockholders to pay, excess earnings are redirected into lower premiums and better benefits.
For the past decade, we have built EMI Health into a name that brings a smile to our industry. With our award-winning customer service, nationally recognized wellness program, and access to large and robust provider networks, we are committed to providing a superb member experience. We are trustworthy, honest, and we are dedicated to serving our members with the highest standard of service.
Because of that commitment, EMI Health has been named multiple times as a Utah Best of State company in the Insurance category of business services recognized as an outstanding organization succeeding in its endeavors to provide innovative approaches to healthcare insurance services that contribute significantly to better quality of life in Utah.
EMI Health is here to stay, and we will be serving our community for many more years to come.
